Alamance County Transportation Authority (ACTA)

Alamance County Transportation Authority utilizes standard passenger vans and vans equipped with wheelchair lifts to assist persons with specialized transportation needs. To request transportation service, call the ACTA office at 336-222-0565 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Ride request must be made by 11:00a.m. at least one working day before you need transportation. Ride request are not taken during the weekend; therefore, request for transportation on Mondays must be made by 11:00a.m. the preceding Friday. Rider Fares are waived (no charge), through December 31, 2022. Regular schedules are not operated on the following holidays: Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and the day before or day after Christmas.
