About Us

Weekly Short Track Racing at its finest can be found on Friday Nights from March-October at Ace Speedway. A 4/10’s mile paved oval Ace Speedway hosts weekly racing for Late Model Stock, Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Mini Stocks and UCAR divisions. Ace Speedway also plays host to special events such as: Tractor Pulls, Kart racing, Concerts, Car Shows and more!. Since 1956 Ace Speedway has been a pillar of grass roots racing in Alamance County and has seen such NASCAR Stars as Elliott Sadler, Timothy Peters, Aric Almirola, Darrell Wallace Jr, Todd Gilliland, Jeb Burton and more race at the fabled 4/10’s track.

Directions:
From I-85/40 (east coming into Burlington or west leaving Burlington) take University Drive exit towards Elon for approx 5 miles
Turn LEFT onto Shallowford Church Rd continue approx 2 miles to intersection of Hwy 87
Turn LEFT ont Hwy 87 North for approx 4 miles
Turn RIGHT on Altamahaw-Union Ridge Road (sign at bridge just past A-O Elementary school)
Follow signs to Ace Speedway located at 3401 Altamahaw Race Track Rd
